The lodge was well-equipped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. It had a very efficient oven and hob, making it easy to prepare meals. The pillows and duvets were extra comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was great, within walking distance of the town and also a good base for exploring the surrounding area by car. We enjoyed the nearby walks and attractions, such as the cheese factory and cafe. Plus, the owner was friendly and helpful, making our stay even better.
This was a minor inconvenience and didn't detract from our overall experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Invercauld Lodges. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful setting and easy access to local shops. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and well-equipped for self-catering. I was pleasantly surprised to find a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits upon arrival. Despite the chilly weather outside, the lodge was very cozy and provided a comfortable base to come back to after hiking. The owners were friendly and gave us privacy during our stay. I highly recommend this place.

The lodge itself exceeded our expectations with its comfort, cleanliness, and perfect location. We were greeted with complimentary milk and shortbread upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. Gordon, the owner, was always available for advice and made us feel right at home. The lodge had all the amenities we needed, including a dishwasher, making it feel like a true home away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed many well-marked walks and hikes. The cabins were also dog-friendly, which was a big positive for us. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the noisy construction nearby and an occasionally sluggish Wi-Fi connection, our overall experience was extremely positive. We would definitely recommend Invercauld Lodges to others looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in the area.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming lodge in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby village and attractions such as Balmoral Castle. The lodge was fully equipped for our 22-day stay, making it feel like a home away from home. The owner, Gordon, was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. The pillows and duvets were luxuriously comfortable, and the kitchen had a great selection of utensils. We were delighted to find milk and shortbread waiting for us upon arrival. Watching the squirrels at the feeding station was a delightful bonus. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as noisy construction and slightly overheated rooms, our overall experience was fantastic. We would highly recommend this lodge for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodges. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, and we were pleasantly surprised by the extra kitchen utensils provided. The cozy and comfortable pillows and duvets made our sleep extra relaxing. The owner was friendly and even left a thoughtful welcome gift of milk and shortbread. We enjoyed watching the squirrels at the feeding station nearby. The lodge's location, surrounded by trees, gave us a peaceful and countryside feel, yet it was only a short walk to the village center with its great dining options. We also appreciated the convenience of having a dishwasher and a smart TV with Netflix. Despite the cold weather, the lodge kept us warm, although we had to adjust the radiators to cool down a bit. The local Co-op provided everything we needed for self-catering, and if we didn't feel like cooking, there were excellent cafes, restaurants, and take-aways in Ballater. The lodge's wooden walls made it appear a bit dark inside, but it didn't detract from our enjoyable stay. The floors were a bit cold, but that may have been due to the unusually frigid weather. we highly recommend staying at Invercauld Lodges for a comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable experience.

The location was perfect, with easy access to local shops and amazing hiking trails. The cabins were clean and cozy, with great amenities like a comfortable bed, a TV, and a music player. The staff was genuinely friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. It was also a big plus that the lodges were dog-friendly at no extra charge. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you're looking for a snowy getaway.
The only downside I found was that the location of the lodges was behind houses, which was a bit disappointing. However, this didn't affect my overall experience at all.

We had a fantastic time during our Christmas stay! The cabin was absolutely spotless and spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our holiday. The fact that it was within walking distance of the local town and shops was a major plus. We were able to explore the area easily and even found some amazing walks nearby. It was such a peaceful and relaxing break, and we know for sure that we'll be back again. We can't wait to recommend this place to our friends!
That the wood on the walls in the living area made the cabin seem a bit dark at times. However, this is just a personal preference and didn't really detract from the overall experience.
